Last week, I completed the second task for my Navigator Interest Badge.
I used the DC Metro to put the District of Columbia's transit to the test.
I found that the punctuality and cleanliness of the metro were pretty good, the route was extremely useful for commuters, the metro maps are easy to understand, the seats are fairly comfortable, and there were opportunities to carry out good deeds.
However, I also discovered that the staff were not always the friendliest, not all of the passengers were friendly, the cars were not very well decorated, and no cute pets were on-board.
After using the DC Metro, I concluded that it is an easy mode of transit for long or short distances around the District of Columbia. And, I would recommend it to business people, college students, and commuters who need to move around town.
